Sveta Ilić from the village of Binač in Kosovsko Pomoravlje was brutally beaten by a local Albanian when he tried to defend his son from the attacker, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced.
The incident, as stated by the Office for KiM, was preceded by a verbal and then a physical attack by a man of Albanian nationality on the son of Sveta Ilić.
“When the man approached to protect his son, the Albanian took a piece of wood and hit him several times, after which the bully fled, and the injured man was transferred to the hospital for stitches and treatment of his injuries,” the Office for KiM added, stating that the case was also reported to the police.

The Office for KiM states that the Ilić family had previously had problems with the mentioned man of Albanian nationality, who otherwise lives near their house.
“Until now, he mostly attacked them verbally, and this time he physically assaulted the host of the family, and they are now rightfully worried about their safety,” the Office for KiM claims.
