The administration of US President Donald Trump has called on American public health agencies to prioritize investigations into the negative effects of vaccines, the use of prescription drugs, and the cause of autism in a new report, “Making America Healthy Again,” which is focused on children.

The 20-page report, created under the umbrella of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., claims that childhood diseases in the US will be eradicated by refocusing American public health agencies on issues that members of Kennedy’s broad and politically diverse “MAHA” movement are asking the government to prioritize.

Kennedy’s new effort to investigate the negative effects of vaccines could deepen the conflict between him and the public health agencies he oversees, which have been hit by massive layoffs and are in conflict with him over his controversial policies.

Over the past few weeks, there has been turmoil over vaccine policy at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has led to the resignation of the director and other top executives.

Last week, senators fiercely questioned Kennedy about his anti-vaccine agenda and the way he leads public health agencies.

Kennedy is also expected to release a report that he says will expose the causes of autism, a complex developmental disorder.

Kennedy’s latest report calls on the government to investigate the negative aspects of vaccination and develop a framework to ensure that “America has the best childhood vaccination schedule,” which “pays attention to the negative impact of vaccination.”

An earlier version of the report was leaked and published in August. Minor changes were made to the final draft, which was developed by a MAHA panel that included Kennedy and other members of the presidential cabinet.

Despite the promise of “radical transparency,” the panel never held a public meeting before the report’s release.

Among the differences in the final version is a call for the National Institutes of Health to use personal medical records and health insurance data to investigate the causes of diseases and disorders, including autism.

Kennedy has vowed for months to find the cause of autism, a complex developmental disorder that affects the brain, by September. He promised to conduct massive research to identify the causes of the disorder but has been silent about who is conducting the research or when it will be published.
