Former Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, commented on police brutality at a protest in Novi Sad on the social media platform X.
“With a most likely staged approach, the police beat students and citizens in Novi Sad. For students, the priority is books and freedom, not a baton and prison. As a reminder: ‘Militia, act according to orders’ triggered the fall of the Montenegrin regime. No one should beat the innocent,” Krivokapić wrote on X.
We remind you that several incidents occurred at the protest in Novi Sad yesterday. According to the testimonies of citizens and students, the police launched their most brutal action so far against people who were protesting peacefully.
