Tito, Yugoslavia, two concepts by which most countries still know of the existence of the former republic, which has not existed for more than 30 years.

Foreigners also know about Novak, Serbia, the Balkans, and the injustice that befell us in 1999, as best evidenced by the meeting of our cyclist from Kraljevo with a cafe owner in Tajikistan.

With tears in his eyes, in two sentences, as if he had spent a century in our country, with our people, sharing good and bad, Ahmed, as the cafe owner is called, told Dragan Šibalić on camera that he and his friends cried when NATO bombed the FRY Yugoslavia.

Tears for the bombing of Yugoslavia Dragan’s video, posted on X (Twitter), delighted and moved everyone who saw it, especially because of the fact that Ahmed said everything he said through tears.

“Brother, listen, when NATO and America bombed Yugoslavia, we cried. Do you understand? I respect Yugoslavia, Serbia, Montenegro, I respect you all very much. Do you understand?”, Ahmed said to Dragan’s camera.

Under the post, comments began to appear from people who were touched by Ahmed’s words and the way he talked about our country, but one garnered the most sympathy from users of this network.
