WELL DONE, ALDIN! Serbian athlete wins the 1,500-meter race in Austria!

Serbian athlete Aldin Ćatović won the 1,500-meter race at the “Waidhofen” meeting in Austria.

The member of Novi Pazar Athletics Club won the meeting in Austria with a time of 3:42.13, the Serbian Athletics Federation (SAS) reported. In addition to Ćatović, several other members of AK Novi Pazar recorded good results at “Waidhofen.”

Kaid Koca finished third in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 4:01.64, while Alen Sejdović was sixth, setting a new personal best with a time of 4:17.04.

In the women’s 1,500-meter race, Mejra Mehmedović finished second with a time of 4:20.88, recording her best result of the season.

Another Novi Pazar athlete, Marko Mrlješ, finished third in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:56.63.

“The performances in Austria once again confirmed the excellent form of the Novi Pazar athletes and the continuity of quality results on the international stage,” the SAS statement said.
