WATER TANKER OVERTURNS: Soldier Killed During Firefighting Operation in Montenegro, Another Sustains Serious Injuries!

A member of the Army of Montenegro has died and another has sustained serious injuries during a firefighting operation in the Kuči region, the Ministry of Defense announced.

“The incident occurred when the water tanker they were operating overturned,” the statement said.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, arrived at the scene upon learning of the accident.

“The public will be informed of all further information in a timely manner,” the Ministry of Defense stated.

The Army of Montenegro, in cooperation with the competent authorities, is conducting an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
