TWO GOLDS AND A BRONZE: Serbia won three medals at the European Championships in volleyball and basketball for high school students!

Serbian high school students won three medals at the European championships, which, as part of the World School Sport Games, are being held in Zlatibor.

The gold medals were won by the volleyball players (Branko Radičević Gymnasium from Stara Pazova) and the volleyball players of Serbia (King Petar I High School from Topola), while the bronze medal was won by the basketball players of Serbia (Sports Gymnasium Stari grad).

-When we started organizing the European Championships for high school students two years ago, we believed that it would become a tradition. In 2023, we had the European Championships in basketball in Skopje and volleyball in Trebinje. The impressions were great, and this year we created spectacles in the Zlatibor district. Of course, we would not have been able to implement all of this without the help of the state of Serbia, the local self-governments of Čajetina, Arilje, Nova Varoš, and Guča, with the partnership of the European School Sport Federation ESSF – emphasized the president of the Serbian School Sport Federation, Željko Tanasković.
