US President Donald Trump boasted on Tuesday evening that world leaders are panicking over his enormous global tariffs.
“These countries call me, they kiss my a**. They are dying to make a deal,” Trump said during his address to the National Republican Congressional Committee.
“They are dying to settle,” he added.
Trump mocked world leaders who beg him for a deal.
“Please, please, sir, make a deal. I will do anything,” Trump mimicked the alleged behavior of those countries.
Trump also boasted that he had the “most successful 100 days in the history of this country,” apparently forgetting the resounding falls on world stock markets after he announced his tariffs, sharp Republican town hall meetings, and a large national protest against his administration just days earlier, writes the Independent.
