The Montenegrin Party (CP) announced today that it supports the Students’ List in the parliamentary elections on October 25 and that its members are involved in monitoring the electoral process.

The party said it had supported the Students’ List even before its composition was known, because it believes Serbia needs democratic changes, the restoration of institutions and the rule of law.

“Our members, as citizens, are involved in the work of polling station committees and mobile teams, while municipal offices have been made available for the training of election monitors and the needs of the Students’ List campaign headquarters,” CP stated.

It assessed that the democratization of Serbia is directly connected to the position of national minorities and warned about the discriminatory attitude of certain political and media structures toward Montenegrins and their national identity.

CP said it advocates for a European Serbia in which all citizens will be able to freely express their national identity and exercise their rights equally.
