The doors of the State University in Novi Pazar have been opened, reports N1 correspondent, and the gathered crowd is shouting “Victory.”

Students, as reported by N1 correspondent, are entering the building.

Student Enes Džogović emphasized that “of course it is a victory.”

“We managed to reclaim this university, we will manage to disperse this disgusting administration that tramples and slanders students. People from all over Serbia came to support us, it has not been recorded in the history of Novi Pazar, emotions overwhelmed me, the police promised that we would enter DUNP,” he says.

He adds that the blockade will continue.

“We want to remove the disgusting administration, we call for a boycott of exams as long as they are there, for the change of the student parliament, a total reformation. I want to thank all the citizens of this country who came to support us. This is a victory for the righteous,” he said, while the gathered chanted “Students are the law.”

Džogović also added that they demand that “the thugs who pulled out students this morning be prosecuted and why the police protected them.”

“This is proof that the unrighteous retreat before us as long as we are united, as long as we are together. This is our university, we will fight until it is free,” says Džogović.

During the day, N1 correspondent reminds, two incidents occurred. The second, more serious, when police officers hit several demonstrators with batons, one had his head cut open, and in the incident before that, bottles flew towards police officers, and the chief sustained a cut on his face.

At that time, the police were given 10 minutes to withdraw, otherwise the incidents would continue, and when that deadline expired, the police began to withdraw, and students and citizens appeared on the staircase.
