The Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić, said that Republika Srpska does not undermine the constitutional order, or the territorial integrity of BiH, adding that the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, convenes secret meetings where discussions take place about the radicalization of relations.
“Helez organizes secret meetings with officers. They make secret plans and are the only ones undermining the constitutional order. They talk about creating a Bosnian Hamas. The citizens need to know this. Republika Srpska is ready to defend its principles, constitutionality, and institutions. We do not want anyone to create a Bosnian Hamas and the seeds of evil based on false accusations, after which there will be no peace in BiH,” Stevandić told reporters in Banja Luka
He says that Republika Srpska has a prepared response and that everything is done publicly, with the aim of protecting the constitutional order.
“We will not allow to live in a country where Hamas operates,” Stevandić said.
He said that the entire media campaign started in Sarajevo, with the same goal – to humiliate Republika Srpska, with the opposition also participating in this effort.
“I want to say that they are all part of the same project. The President of Republika Srpska and the Serbian member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, convened a meeting with the heads of security agencies and were exposed to pressure, and everything was public, unlike the officials from the Federation who do everything secretly,” Stevandić emphasized.
