Miami Heat basketball players fell short by a few points and ultimately lost to the Detroit Pistons in a game in which Nikola Jović had to leave the court after just three minutes due to a broken nose.
In the seventh minute of the game, during the first quarter, only three minutes after entering the game, Jović suffered the injury and was forced to exit early.

He was playing on the low post with his back to the basket when the ball slipped out of his hands. He attempted to regain possession and collided heads with an opposing player. In the clash, his nose was injured, immediately beginning to bleed, and without consulting doctors or staff, he quickly rushed to the tunnel to seek medical treatment.
Jović played just three minutes in the game, during which he was very effective, scoring one layup and grabbing one rebound.
