In a serious traffic accident that occurred in the town of Petrovčić, the driver of a passenger car N.R. (29) lost his life after losing control of the vehicle, “Telegraf.rs” learns.
Tonight, around two hours after midnight, in the town of Petrovčić in the municipality of Surčin, a horrific traffic accident with a fatal outcome occurred. According to initial information, the driver of an “Opel Vectra” passenger vehicle, for reasons currently unknown, lost control, ran off the roadway and violently struck a concrete cross located next to the road.
Emergency medical teams and police arrived at the scene of the accident in record time, but there was no saving the unfortunate driver. Due to the force of the impact, the vehicle suffered total damage, and the driver died on the spot.
The police conducted an investigation at the scene to determine all the details of this tragedy. It is currently unknown whether the cause of the accident was inappropriate speed, a slippery roadway, or a potential vehicle malfunction.
Traffic on this section was difficult during the investigation, but was normalized in the early morning hours. The body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy, after which more details will be known.
