The court in Priština sentenced Miloš Antović from Žitkovac to four years and 11 months in prison and a fine of 20,000 euros, for several criminal acts, including hooliganism and attacking KFOR members, during the protest of Serbs in Zvečan, at the end of May 2023.
Before the court’s decision, Miloš Antović reached an agreement with the prosecutor and pleaded guilty to all counts of the indictment.
According to the indictment, Antović is charged with four criminal acts: “assault on an official, participation in a crowd committing a criminal act – hooliganism, unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution, and sale of narcotic drugs, and unauthorized possession of weapons.”
For the first two counts, Antović was sentenced to imprisonment, and for the other two, to a fine.

Antović is from Žitkovac near Zvečan and was arrested in April of this year. The time spent in custody will be included in his sentence. He was not present at the sentencing.
At the previous hearing held today, Antović told the judge that he was aware that by the agreement with the prosecutor’s office, he had pleaded guilty and waived the right to a fair trial, as well as to call witnesses and present evidence.
“We propose that the accused be sentenced to a single sentence of five years of effective imprisonment and a fine of 20,000 euros, taking into account the time spent in custody and that the measure of detention not be suspended until the verdict becomes final,” said prosecutor Bekim Kodraljiu.
Antović’s defense lawyer Pljeurat Beka stated that the accused agrees to plead guilty to the counts of the indictment and proposed that the fine be paid in installments.
