“The tournament was extremely high quality. This is evidenced by the fact that the selections of Bulgaria, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Moldova, Romania, Israel and Ukraine came in very strong compositions. In total, counting the rings and disciplines on the tatami, over 2,500 kickboxers from all over Europe participated, and all our national team members had at least three very demanding matches to win a medal,” summarized the impressions from Plovdiv, the selector of the Serbian kickboxing national team, Siniša Vladimirović, and then added:
“All members of our national team did their fights well. They showed maximum commitment and all this makes me very happy, because we are only at the beginning of the season, so we still have room to improve the form,” Vladimirović noted.
The first next challenge for our kickboxers will be the national championship in the full-contact discipline, which is on the program in mid-March.
