Partizan’s basketball players defeated Bayern Munich on their home court 92:85, in Round 14 of the EuroLeague.
Partizan secured the win with better play in the second half, ended a negative streak of four consecutive losses, and triumphed with the new coach.
Partizan was led to victory by Dwayne Washington with 22 points and six assists, followed by Tyrique Jones with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Isaac Bonga also scored in double figures with 10 points and four rebounds.
For Bayern, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 25 points, followed by Vladimir Lučić with 17 points and four rebounds; also in double figures were Xavier Rathan-Mayes with 11 points, as well as Johannes Voigtmann with a double-double performance of 10 points, 18 rebounds, and seven assists.
The black-and-whites now have five wins and nine losses in the EuroLeague, the same record as Bayern.
Partizan faces a duel with Crvena zvezda next in the season, the first “eternal” derby of the season.
