The University of Belgrade is positioned at 387th place out of a total of 21,462 ranked universities globally, according to the newly released Global 2000 list by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), as announced by the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade.

According to the statement, the University of Belgrade has continuously, for eight years now, been among the top 1.9% of ranked higher education institutions in the world.

The Rectorate clarifies that the key elements for university ranking on the CWUR list are:

Quality of Education (25%)
Alumni Employment (25%)
Quality of Faculty (10%)
Research Performance (40% total):
Scientific Papers (10%)
High-Quality Publications (10%)
Influence (10%)
Citations (10%)

Rector Vladan Đokić thanked all teachers, researchers, associates, and alumni of the University of Belgrade whose achievements in education, professional development, and science contributed to the high global ranking.
