Participants of the commemorative walk “High School Students Remember” on the occasion of 10 months since the fall of the canopy at the Railway Station in Novi Sad are gathering today at several locations in Belgrade, from where they started to the former main railway station on Savski Trg.

A huge number of people gathered from different parts of Belgrade for the protest called “High School Students Remember – We Are All Under the Canopy.”

Students from schools in Dorćol gathered near the First Belgrade Gymnasium, and some of the participants gathered near Cvetkova pijaca, from where they went to the Faculty of Law and started towards the station, and students from Zemun met with students from New Belgrade and started towards the same location.

A gathering was also announced at Autokomanda.

The walk should move from Savski Trg on Nemanjina Street and pass by the Ministry of Education, then the Student Cultural Center, the Constitutional Court and Radio Television of Serbia, and then Makedonska Street to Republic Square.

The students stated that this September 1, they are not marking the beginning of the school year, but 10 months since the fall of the canopy.

“We remember the tragedy, demand responsibility, and fight for a better country. We are not turning our heads. Together until the end,” the students wrote on social networks.
