Nikola Jokić was not named the Western Conference Player of the Week in the NBA despite incredible numbers.
As the Denver Nuggets went 2-2 in four games, their center averaged a monstrous 42.3 points, 15 rebounds, and 8.3 assists. Even that wasn’t enough to earn him the recognition.
His two consecutive games against Washington and Atlanta were particularly impressive. In less than 24 hours, he scored 104 points – 56 in the US capital, followed by 48 against the Hawks.

In the East, Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat was unrivaled with 25.3 points, six rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
