Nikola Jokić continues his unstoppable form in the new season, this time leading the Denver Nuggets to a hard-fought victory over Miami Heat, 135-122.

The Serbian national team member and reigning NBA MVP once again powered his team to victory with impressive statistics and even better artistic performance.

Jokić recorded 30 points on an incredible 85% shooting (11-13 from two, 1-1 from three, 7-7 from the free-throw line), along with 14 assists and 11 rebounds, maintaining his triple-double average after nine games of the new season.

He was supported by Murray with 28 points (6 assists, 4 rebounds), Christian Braun and Michael Porter Jr. with 21 points each, and young Watson with 16 points and 5 rebounds.

For the visiting team, Tyler Herro was the best with 24 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds. He was followed by Bam Adebayo with 20 points and 9 rebounds, while our other Nikola, Jović, started in the Heat’s starting five and finished the game with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

This was Denver’s sixth win in nine games, and they now share fourth place in the Western Conference with Minnesota, while Miami, with a 3-5 record, is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

In other games, it’s worth noting Cleveland’s 10 consecutive wins over Golden State, 136-117. The Clippers won a Western Conference derby on the road against Sacramento, 96-80, while the defending champion Boston narrowly won in overtime at home against Brooklyn (108-104).

Vasilije Micić was instrumental in his Hornets’ victory over Indiana, 103-83.
