The Denver Nuggets narrowly defeated the Sacramento Kings with a score of 130-129 (41-21, 34-47, 21-35, 34-26) in a thrilling finish.

Once again, the league’s MVP, Nikola Jokić, shone brightly. The Serbian center recorded his 140th career triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. Jamal Murray also had an excellent game, scoring 28 points.

Denver couldn’t have asked for a better start to the game. Their offensive onslaught and defensive dominance gave the Nuggets a 20-point lead after the first quarter. However, things changed slightly in the following quarters.

The Kings began hitting shots at a high percentage in the second quarter and reduced the largest 23-point deficit to just seven points before halftime.

In the second half, Sacramento seemed closer to victory. The Kings went on a run at the start of the third quarter to take the lead and held it until the very end of the game. Monk, Fox, and Sabonis were outstanding, while Jokić and Murray kept Denver in the game.

The final minute of the game saw seven lead changes. However, with eight seconds left, Murray hit a two-pointer to give Denver the win.

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated Charlotte with a score of 121-108 after an incredible performance by Tyrese Maxey, who scored 40 points. Vasilije Micić failed to score but had five assists.

The Detroit Pistons defeated the Miami Heat 125-124 in overtime. Even Jimmy Butler’s monstrous performance and triple-double were not enough to secure a victory for the visitors. Butler had 35 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists. Nikola Jović did not play in this game.
