Joe Rogan recently hosted Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and Elon Musk for long, friendly interviews.
Joe Rogan, the immensely popular podcast host who brought Donald Trump onto his show for a three-hour episode last month, expressed his support for the former president in a social media post on Monday.
Rogan, who also had lengthy conversations with Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, Trump’s vice-presidential candidate, and Elon Musk, a prominent Trump supporter, in recent episodes of his podcast, said that Musk “gave, in his opinion, the most convincing argument for Trump that you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”
“For the record, yes, this is support for Trump,” Rogan, host of The Joe Rogan Experience, wrote on Monday evening, without going into detail about what Musk said that convinced him.
A few minutes later, Trump promoted Rogan’s support while on the campaign trail in Pittsburgh, inaccurately suggesting that Rogan had never supported a political candidate before. Rogan had supported Bernie Sanders in the 2020 election.

“He’s the biggest there is,” Trump said about Rogan, adding, “Someone said he’s the biggest after all the others lately.” Trump’s campaign quickly sent out a fundraising email highlighting Rogan’s support.
Rogan’s conversations with Trump, Vance, and Musk were largely friendly, often filled with praise for the former president. During his appearance, Trump drew attention from Rogan’s audience, mostly young male listeners, as he discussed abolishing the federal income tax, mixed martial arts, and speculation about life on Mars.
At the start of his interview with Vance, Rogan said that U.S. presidents “dramatically” and “dramatically” age once they take office.
“Except for Trump,” Rogan quickly added. During his interview with Trump, he noted that Trump’s speaking style—what Trump calls his “braid”—seems to intensify. “Your braid gets wide,” Rogan said. “You get wide with that braid.”
This year, Rogan sparked backlash from Trump supporters when he backed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was running for president as an independent and had at one point been on track to gain Trump’s support. Rogan said Kennedy was “the only one who makes sense to me.” Faced with criticism from Trump and his supporters, Rogan clarified that he hadn’t endorsed Kennedy, who eventually dropped out and supported Trump.
“It will be interesting to see how Joe Rogan gets greeted with boos the next time he steps into the UFC octagon,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, in August.
