The Israeli military conducted deadly strikes on Gaza and Lebanon this morning, while Hezbollah targeted the Glilot base in the suburbs of Tel Aviv. The number of fatalities from the Israeli attack near the Rafik Hariri Hospital in Beirut has risen to 13, with 57 people injured, reported the Lebanese Ministry of Health, according to Reuters.
Previous reports indicated that at least four people, including one child, were killed in the attack, while 24 others were injured. Despite the assaults, the hospital continues to operate and treat the wounded.
In East Jerusalem, seven residents were arrested on suspicion of planning attacks in Israel, including assassinations of an Israeli nuclear scientist and a mayor in central Israel. The suspects, aged between 19 and 23, had operated as a group over the past two years, led by Rami Alijan, a 23-year-old recruited by an Iranian agent, reported the Times of Israel.
According to police and Shin Bet sources, the suspects had various assignments. Meanwhile, at least 15 people were killed when the Israeli military attacked a group of Palestinians in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, reported the Wafa news agency.
Among the dead were women and children, with several others injured, the agency noted. The Red Crescent reported that three residents were killed, while others were injured when a reconnaissance aircraft struck a group of Palestinians. Medical sources indicated that 12 people were killed in the Israeli artillery shelling of Beit Lahiya

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel today to reaffirm the U.S. commitment to the security of the Jewish state and to discuss possibilities for achieving peace, stated Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.
According to Patel, the U.S. diplomat will discuss options for ending the war in Gaza, securing the release of all hostages, and expanding humanitarian aid.
