A girl was brought to the Military Medical Academy during the night from the Belgrade neighborhood of Mirijevo due to a fall from a height, announced Dr. Bosko Milev, the chief attending surgeon at the VMA.
The person in question is a young female, approximately 24-25 years old, who fell from a height of over 20 meters.
“Severe bodily injuries were sustained, so we headed to the operating room immediately upon admission. Of course, the condition has been stabilized and is being continuously monitored. She remains in serious condition in the intensive care unit,” he reveals.
In the 11 traffic accidents that occurred over the past day, more than 50 percent of the participants in those traffic accidents were motorcyclists and cyclists.

In a traffic accident that occurred in the vicinity of Smederevo, one patient – a truck driver – was transported to the VMA yesterday.
“He was admitted to our institution, in the intensive care unit. He was specifically admitted to the orthopedic clinic with severe bodily injuries, but he is in stable condition and, of course, his condition continues to be monitored,” Dr. Milev adds for RTS.
