An incident occurred at the session of the Serbian Assembly on Tuesday when opposition MPs, after the adoption of the agenda, left their benches and activated pyrotechnic devices in the hall.
The commotion occurred after the MPs of the ruling coalition adopted the agenda, which the opposition opposes.
After the adoption of the agenda, ZLF MP Radomir Lazović headed towards the speaker’s platform, which was prevented by the parliamentary security.
Immediately after him, his colleague Biljana Đorđević followed, after which pushing ensued.

Opposition MPs then headed towards the chairman’s table, after which they lit red and black smoke bombs and unfurled a banner that read “Serbia rises for the regime to fall.”
The Speaker of the Serbian Assembly, Ana Brnabić, said that MP Jasmina Obradović from the “Aleksandar Vučić – Serbia must not stop” group had a stroke and that her life was in danger, for which she blamed the opposition.
“She is fighting for her life because of you, you are inhuman,” Ana Brnabić told the opposition MPs and called several times for the continuation of the parliament’s work, adding that they would work in accordance with the Rules of Procedure until 6 PM.
She added that among the injured was MP Sonja Ilić, who is in her eighth month of pregnancy.

“We have a job to do, and Serbia will never stop. Your colored revolution has failed,” she said.
PUPS MP Stefan Krkobabić said that Social Democratic Party MP Jasmina Karanac was hit in the head during today’s session.
As reported by RTS, Jasmina Karanac was sprayed with pepper spray and hit with a bottle in the head.
Dozens of plainclothes police officers, members of the Security Unit, as well as an ambulance and firefighters arrived at the Assembly, reports Fonet.

The government previously adopted the agenda with 62 items, including amendments to the Law on Higher Education, which fulfills the fourth demand of students in the blockade.
The session should also note the resignation of Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, which he submitted on January 28 under pressure from student protests.
The opposition demands that the agenda include only amendments to the Law on Higher Education and states that the government, which announced its resignation, cannot adopt a multitude of important laws.

“This government has fallen, that has been stated. We are warning you not to introduce ministers who do not exist. They have no right to propose laws,” said SSP MP Marinika Tepić before the incidents, and added that the government has neither legality nor legitimacy.
MPs from the parliamentary groups of the Party of Freedom and Justice and the Green-Left Front held banners depicting bloody hands and which, among other things, read “Corruption kills,” “Pump,” “Support for educators,” and “General strike.”
Students and citizens gathered near the parliament building, who at 11:52 AM paid tribute to those killed in the collapse of the Railway Station canopy in Novi Sad.
