In an explosion at the special-purpose industry factory “Sloboda” in Čačak this morning, four people were injured, three of them lightly, and one sustained more serious injuries.
ccording to information from the scene, the explosion occurred in the artillery department, where a projectile exploded on the production line.

The Čačak hospital reported that a 36-year-old man was admitted to the emergency department with burns to his face, neck, and an arm injury. After observation, he was admitted to intensive care.
“We heard a loud detonation, it woke us up. The doors in the house shook from the force. I just hope this is the end of it”, a frightened resident of Čačak told RINA.
The last explosion at “Sloboda” in Čačak happened three years ago in June and no workers were injured at that time.
