Turkish President RECEP TAYYIP ERDOĞAN extended his heartfelt Easter wishes to all Christians celebrating the religious holiday.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to our Christian citizens, who belong to various churches and denominations, on the occasion of Easter. As members of a civilization rooted in respect and love, we attach great importance to ensuring that all our citizens — who have made Anatolia a land of peace for thousands of years — can freely practice their own religion, culture, and traditions,” ERDOĞAN said in his message.
He expressed his hope that the spirit of peace and love brought by Easter, as a symbol of unity, brotherhood, and sharing, will always accompany humanity, according to Anadolu Agency.
“With these sentiments, I once again extend Easter greetings to all Christians, especially our Christian citizens, and convey my best wishes for peace and prosperity,” ERDOĞAN concluded.
