Wedding rings have been a symbol of loyalty and love between future spouses since ancient times. Celebrated in many songs and of great importance to married couples, the wedding rings from a jewelry store in Belgrade are also a true symbol of patriotism. Namely, the jeweler Dragan Simić decided to make a unique Serbian wedding ring.
-Its greatest peculiarity, why it is the first Serbian wedding ring, is that when the male and female wedding ring are joined, we get our national cap, the šajkača. I came up with this patent 12 years ago, and so far this Serbian wedding ring has won as many as 24 awards, Dragan says for RINA.
Created based on the fact that England, France and Russia have their own specific wedding rings, the first and so far only Serbian wedding ring is protected by a special stamp, so all future married couples who choose it will have a unique piece of jewelry.
I wanted to create a wedding ring that is not only a symbol of love, but also of belonging, something we wear with pride. When they come together, they represent not only two people but also a unity rooted in our history. These wedding rings are available in different variants, including combinations of white, yellow and rose gold, and can be further decorated with precious or semi-precious stones in the colors of the Serbian flag – red, blue and white. The price of the wedding rings varies depending on the selected materials and design, Dragan points out.

Customers can choose between different gold fineness – 14 or 18 carats, with the possibility of personalization according to their own wishes. The innovative design and emotional value of the first Serbian wedding ring quickly attracted the attention of future brides and grooms, and the interest in this symbolic piece of jewelry is constantly growing.
-There is great interest from our newlyweds, but I must admit that there is even greater demand for these Serbian wedding rings abroad. They have even reached the Emirates, and by far the most customers and interested newlyweds come to us from Australia, concludes this creative jeweler.
