A Spanish journalist captured footage of Novak Djokovic at Doha airport and published a video that has shocked everyone.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Djokovic was visibly limping at the airport in Doha.
This suggests that he is still feeling pain, despite initially stating that he had no issues.
“I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Simply put, the better player won today. It wasn’t my desired level, I didn’t move as well as I wanted. No excuses. He played a masterful tactical match, served excellently, and deserved to win,” Djokovic said after his match against Matteo Berrettini.

However, this is how Spanish outlet “AS” explained it:
“AS recorded the Serbian tennis player limping as he entered Doha Airport while leaving the country, despite stating after his loss to Berrettini that he was not in pain. Novak Djokovic has today sparked concern over his physical condition ahead of the upcoming tournaments in the 2025 season. AS captured footage of the tennis star entering Doha Airport with visible signs of limping, which can be seen in the video accompanying this news report.”
Djokovic played an official match in Doha for the first time since he withdrew due to injury in the semifinal against Alexander Zverev at last year’s Australian Open, where he managed to defeat Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals despite playing with pain for most of the match and facing accusations from Australian media of faking an injury.
Djokovic’s limping is surprising, given that he stated he was not in pain during his singles match against Matteo Berrettini and showed no apparent issues during his two doubles matches with Spanish player Fernando Verdasco.
While the severity of his condition remains uncertain, Djokovic announced at a press conference that he intends to play in the Masters 1,000 tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami. However, his participation in both tournaments remains uncertain, as he left Doha showing clear signs of pain, the article concluded.
