The best Serbian tennis player, Novak Đoković, has advanced to the semifinals of the tennis tournament in Athens.

In the quarterfinals, Đoković defeated Portuguese player Nuno Borges 7:6 (6-1), 6:4.

Novak dominated on his serve from the very start of the match, “read” his opponent’s serve as well, but could not find a way to break. The first set was decided after a tiebreak in which the Serbian completely dominated.

The second set brought only early drama, as Đoković settled the question of the winner with a break in the seventh game, after which he routinely finished the job.

In the semifinals, Đoković will face the winner of the match between Giron and Hanfmann.
