The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, and Nenad Stevandić, the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, held a press conference.
The conference was held at the Palace of Republika Srpska, after the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, whose activities are prohibited in Republika Srpska, issued an order to the judicial police for the arrest of Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković and Nenad Stevandić.
“This attempt to criminalize the institutions of Srpska, and thus the Prime Minister, is something I expected,” Višković pointed out.
Višković pointed out that he cannot help but wonder how it is possible that “the Prosecutor’s Office and the Court of BiH accept the decision of Christian Schmidt”.
“I will not come to the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of my own free will simply because I do not trust them,” said Višković, adding that he will never break the oaths he has taken.
“I am ready to appear before any court today to answer for what someone thinks I did, and I did nothing to destroy the Constitution of this country,” said Višković.
Višković said that he is not afraid of threats and persecution.
“Go ahead, realize your threat, you are shooting blanks. But you may be creating a situation where someone shoots live rounds. This is not a threat from Republika Srpska, we send peaceful words, a call for dialogue, and all of that is ignored,” said Višković.
He said that it is an obligation to defend the Constitution of Republika Srpska and that he will remain at the head of the institutions and that no one will run away anywhere.
“I call on all those who are not members of the Serbian people and live in Republika Srpska, do not worry about your safety and the safety of your families. You are safer here than in any other entity,” said Višković.
Nenad Stevandić said that this is “the finalization of the imagined Laufer operation”.
“We are not afraid for ourselves personally, we are afraid of endangering the lives of citizens and property in Republika Srpska, because here they are trying to take away our right to self-defense, which every nation has the right to, and we will not give up that right,” said Stevandić.
Commenting on the statements of FBiH officials, Stevandić asked if there is a greater attack on the constitutional order.
“People who incite, call for war and call for the arrest of political opponents, their harangue is aimed at trampling on our rights and the right to life,” said Stevandić, adding that “a harangue has been going on for days calling for the murders of me and Dodik.”
After that, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, addressed the journalists, saying that today is a special day.
“Especially for me because it’s my birthday today,” said Dodik, pointing out that he received a “greeting from Sarajevo” in which there is an arrest warrant.

“It says here that they are urgently looking for us, as if we are Al Qaeda. This is a festive day because the procedures for changing the Constitution have been initiated,” said Dodik and called on everyone to participate in the public debate, in order to create a final document called the Constitution of Republika Srpska.
“It is not in our interest to be against the BiH Constitution, but in accordance with it,” said Dodik.
Dodik said that they are not disturbed and that there is no need for anyone to be disturbed.
“My message is, just don’t overdo it, understand it as you want,” said Dodik and added that today the RS Assembly is adopting a new law that provides for the introduction of new institutes, a special prosecutor’s office and court that protect the constitutional order.
“There is no blow that I am not ready to endure for Republika Srpska, I will do my job and travel, but I will never leave Republika Srpska,” said Dodik.
Dodik says that this escalation was not desired.
“We are forced to do it. This is not the defense of an individual, but the defense of the republic. I believe that I have the support of the people and I call on the people to give us even greater support,” said Dodik and added that “individuals have no right to comfort when Republika Srpska is threatened.”
Dodik addressed prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić, who issued the arrest warrant.
“If you are ready to persecute us, Serbs, because we are not of the same faith, then you will not get away with it either. Today I, and I believe my colleagues, will file charges. This prosecutor’s office is for the inquisition, not for justice.”
“Republika Srpska remains with the prohibitions it has made, the prohibition of the BiH prosecutor’s office that should not exist. I would not recommend SIPA to act, and I believe that it will not. I have confidence in the police of Republika Srpska. The next target would be the police of Srpska, and then the property of the church. And they would blame us in every way,” said Dodik.
“I am proud of all the people who support me. Thank you to those who support me, there are many of them. Thank you all, I can’t answer everyone’s birthday greetings. Here, Dodik received a greeting from the BiH prosecutor’s office.”
“It should be noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a failed country. We are now at the forefront, like the Croatian people used to be in this country, and we want the same, respect. We have a legitimate right to exist under international law. I see that the commander who came from Romania is trying to make a career for himself. I tell him that he will not defeat the people of Srpska.”
Dodik announced meetings with representatives of Russia, which are expected in the coming days.
As he adds, today there will be talk about starting the procedure for changing the Constitution.
“Today we are proposing a draft. I call on all representatives of the people in Srpska to join the discussion, which should produce a final document, which is called the Constitution of Srpska. Our ambition is not for it to be contrary to the BiH Constitution, but to be harmonized,” he adds.
He emphasized that if some people think that the solution is that “they would like to see Milorad Dodik in handcuffs, that does not mean that they can do anything.”
“I’m glad that no Serb here was crazy enough to sign that arrest warrant. Here, arrest me, let me see how you’re going to arrest me,” said Dodik.
