In Hungary, parliamentary elections are being held today, evaluated as some of the most uncertain in the last few years, with record voter turnout. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán faces a serious challenge, while the opposition is recording a significant growth in support and has a real chance for victory.

The right-wing opposition movement Our Homeland announced that it is filing criminal charges due to alleged electoral irregularities, claiming that in certain parts of the country, Roma voters are being transported to the polls in an organized manner. The movement states that they are collecting evidence which they will submit to the competent authorities.

The election day is passing in an atmosphere of great political tension, and the final results could significantly influence the future political course of the country, especially considering the long-term dominance of Orban and his party.
