President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the alleged coup is a false narrative and that for a coup to occur, there must be a state, which, in his view, is not the case with Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
“We are defending the Constitution, yet we are accused of attacking it. No one wants to read what it actually says,” Dodik said in an interview with Russia’s Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
The president of Republika Srpska, who returned from Moscow yesterday after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, pointed out that political Sarajevo follows the decisions of foreigners, even though nowhere does it say that a foreigner can pass laws.
“Both the court and the prosecutor’s office (of BiH) cannot operate; they are illegal. In Sarajevo, it’s a matter of to be or not to be. But we exist—we have our own life, territory, state, government, parliament, police, healthcare, education, and people who want Republika Srpska, whereas they do not,” Dodik explained.
According to Dodik, the other side does not have the Bosnia and Herzegovina that everyone supposedly wants.
“They only have the BiH that is cherished by the followers of Alija Izetbegović, who was an ally of fascist collaborators in World War II,” said the Republika Srpska president.
He further claimed that Bosniaks, regardless of their political party, follow the ideology of Alija Izetbegović, whose doctrine allegedly states that “when Muslims become the majority, the time of Sharia law begins.”
“The West, in its support, does not see this as important, yet it is the most important issue,” Dodik emphasized.
He argued that the unconstitutional Prosecutor’s Office of BiH serves the idea of a unitary state based on political Islamism.
“They want to control us. Every day, politicians from Republika Srpska are subjected to judicial persecution. They think they can intimidate us with the court, but in reality, a bunch of thieves and sycophants gathered in the prosecutor’s office are committing a crime by attacking political structures,” Dodik said.

If the leadership of Republika Srpska is overthrown, Dodik warned, the entire system of Srpska will collapse.
“The goal of their game is to remove key figures and install their own, who will succumb to pressure from Brussels. I am not Republika Srpska, as many say—I am not protecting myself, I am protecting Srpska, and that is why I have enormous problems,” Dodik stated.
He accused the Western international community of violating and disregarding the Dayton Agreement, which, according to him, no longer exists, and claimed that some believe it can be maintained through force.
“We live under a sense of occupation by those who want a unitary state, and we fight against them through political means,” Dodik said, as reported by Srna.
