The President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, stated today that Republika Srpska supports a strong, stable, and successful Serbia, because only such a Serbia can guarantee that the Serbian people, wherever they may live, will never again be prey for anyone’s conquering or revisionist ambitions.
He also said that the military parade “Strength of Unity” (Snaga jedinstva), which he attended yesterday in Belgrade, was impressive, as reported by Euronews.ba.
“And I am proud that we showed the strength of Serbian unity and the might of our army before the eyes of the whole world,” Dodik emphasized in an Instagram post today.
Dodik assessed today, during his guest appearance on the morning program of RTRS, that 15 years ago the Serbian Army was ruined, and that the international factor wanted that army to disappear.
“The attempts from Sarajevo are laughable; I would advise them to look at those pictures from Belgrade. The purpose of the parade was to demonstrate the capability of the Serbian Army, which has always waged defensive wars, and the society is in an economic position to be able to provide that level of equipment. What is equally important is that a lot of people came to watch it, and Serbs love their army,” Dodik pointed out.
He indicated that all of Serbia’s strategic plans state that the army will defend the Serbian people, even outside its borders. He also spoke about the so-called malign influences, stating that the only malign influence that is being attempted comes from Sarajevo, or rather, from Muslim-Bosniak nationalism.
He pointed out that they want to impose taxes and seize property, and asked if that is not malignant.
“What is malignant about the Russians saying that they want international law to be respected,” Dodik questioned.
He stressed to RTRS that Serbs and Russians have always been on the same side of history.
Dodik also mentioned that Republika Srpska has an increasing number of friends and announced that he is traveling to Hungary again tomorrow, with which, he says, the RS has excellent cooperation.
He also announced that he will soon go to Russia again, where he will participate in a forum where the main speaker will be Russian President Vladimir Putin and where he will once again have the opportunity to meet with important people.
