In recent days, Serbs from the diaspora have been increasingly vocal and organized in supporting students in Serbia who are fighting for better study and education conditions. Protests that initially began in Serbia have quickly spread to all continents, with cities around the world becoming centers of solidarity with the youth in their home country.

In cities like New York, Frankfurt, Athens, Ljubljana, and others, Serbs have taken to the streets, demonstrating unity and support for their fellow students in the fight for better conditions at universities, increased financial support, and greater freedom in the education system.

Among the most prominent rallies was one in Malta, where a large number of Serbs and people from the Balkans live and work. The rally in Malta attracted hundreds of participants, who proudly displayed transparent messages of solidarity with the students in Serbia.

“We are not here just for our education, but also for the future of our country. These students represent our hope, and that’s why it’s important to stand with them,” said one of the participants in the rally in Malta.

Additionally, organizers of the protests in the diaspora emphasize that uniting the diaspora is crucial for initiating change in the country, and they hope that the support coming from all corners of the world will contribute to achieving the goals more quickly and bringing positive changes to the state.
