If Goran Vesić does not resign as soon as possible, as soon as today, a large protest will be organized in Novi Sad on Tuesday, activist Ivan Bjelić said in front of the government building, at a protest demanding accountability for the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station.

“People from Novi Sad are planning this, they told us to announce that if there are no resignations, the level of radicalization will be much higher,” Bjelić told N1.

Earlier at the protest, activists said that the resignation of Goran Vesić, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, was their only demand, after 14 people, including children, were killed in the collapse of the canopy.
