Due to the works on Nehruova Street, citizens are concerned about the safety of the Sava embankment, and photos and videos have appeared on social networks while members of the communal police – “Beli,” are arresting citizens who are trying to stop the works.
The video shows that “Beli” are violently taking away a man, while in the background, citizens are heard saying – “what did he do, let him go.”
The members of the communal police put this citizen into an unmarked Škoda vehicle.
“Currently, one person has been arrested and put in a car without any markings. Please come in as large a number as possible and prevent the works,” states the post on the social network X.
To recall, works on the Sava embankment recently started again. Citizens and activists previously stated that, with the assistance and security of the communal police, just like two years ago, an attempt is being made to supply electricity to the rafts on the Sava quay.

The Secretariat for Urbanism changed its original decision from April, which did not allow the works, and approved them with a new decision.
The citizens announced that they will also demand a halt to the works through a court.
