The session of the City Assembly of Kraljevo was interrupted due to an incident that broke out in the assembly hall and a fight between assembly security and an opposition councilor.

The chaos in the Kraljevo Assembly began when a member of the assembly security tried to remove Vladan Slavković, a councilor from the Local Front, from the podium, leading to a physical altercation.

Namely, Slavković stepped up to the podium, and the presiding officer immediately issued him two warnings, told him to leave the hall, and called a break. During the break, security entered the hall and tried to forcibly remove Slavković from the podium.

At that point, a fight broke out between opposition councilors and security, an N1 reporter said.

Vladimir Marović from the Local Front explained that the opposition group of councilors had repeatedly invoked the rules of procedure, clearly pointing out that the mayor of Kraljevo had been disqualifying and discrediting citizens for months, calling them Ustashe, mercenaries, and foreign agents.

Therefore, it was requested that the mayor leave the session so that it could proceed regularly.

The opposition accused the mayor of instigating this incident.

Kraljevo has been the scene of conflicts between citizens organized into assemblies in recent months. Mayor Predrag Terzić has been pelted with eggs multiple times, and there have been conflicts in villages as well.
