From October 28 to November 2, students of the Mathematical Gymnasium participated, for the sixth consecutive time, in the International Mathematical Modeling Tournament organized by the Advanced Education Science Centre of Moscow State University.
This year, the competition was held in two formats: remotely for international teams and in Moscow for domestic teams. The competition consisted of 2 team and 2 individual parts. 23 teams (mostly of four members) from Russia, China, Thailand, Serbia, and others competed.
The team from the Mathematical Gymnasium consisted of four students – Nina Gavrilović, Marko Trajković, and Ognjen Janković, all fourth-graders, and Aleksa Čeperković, a third-grader, accompanied by professors Vladimir Šarić and Ivana Jovanović as team leaders.
