At the World Accordion Cup in East Sarajevo, students of the Music School “Dr. Miloje Milojević” achieved remarkable results.
From the largest global event dedicated to classical accordion, second place was won by Đorđe Kristivojević, while third place went to Vojin Blagojević.
The World Accordion Cup brought together 95 competitors from 34 countries, who competed in seven categories.
At the international accordion competition — the World Accordion Cup, the most prestigious event among performers of this instrument — fourth-year student of the “Dr. Miloje Milojević” Music School, Đorđe Kristivojević, won second place, while first-year student of the same school, Vojin Blagojević, took third place.
In addition to hard work, sacrifice, and dedication, the love for the instrument was crucial for such a strong result, the young accordionists said.
Five students from the “Dr. Miloje Milojević” Music School performed at the World Accordion Cup, proudly representing their city with the support of their professors and parents.
The World Accordion Cup has been held for 78 consecutive years in various locations and represents an opportunity to gain new experiences, build connections, and showcase the richness of accordion music from all over the world.
