BIA ARRESTED MONTENEGRIN DIRECTOR IN BELGRADE: Danilo Marunović interrogated then expelled from Serbia!

Montenegrin director Danilo Marunović has been released from the Security Information Agency (BIA) after questioning and must immediately leave Serbia, “Vijesti” learns.

According to the Podgorica portal, citing another source, BIA agents will escort Marunović to the border with Montenegro.

Montenegrin director Danilo Marunović was detained on Friday (June 27) morning for an informative interview at the premises of the Security Information Agency (BIA) in Belgrade, actor Svetozar Cvetković, who plays in Marunović’s play “Gospoda Glembajevi”, confirmed for “Vreme”.

As previously reported by Podgorica’s “Vijesti”, BIA agents entered Marunović’s hotel room, where he was staying due to the play’s guest performance.

Cvetković tells “Vreme” that the director has since contacted his father, saying he is fine and waiting for a decision.

The play “Gospoda Glembajevi”, for the guest performance of which Marunović is staying in Belgrade, will be performed on the stage of the National Theatre in Belgrade on Friday as planned, says actor Svetozar Cvetković.

According to “Vijesti”, Marunović entered Serbia with his father, actor Slobodan Marunović, without any zadržavanja at the border.
