Media reported early Saturday morning that a loud explosion was heard in Caesarea, which the police believe was the result of an “apparent drone attack”.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that three drones were launched from Lebanon towards Israel, with one hitting a building in Caesarea. According to the IDF, the other two drones were intercepted.
The IDF also reported that sirens sounded in Tel Aviv this morning due to drone attacks in the Glilot area, where the IDF’s main intelligence base and Mossad headquarters are located. The Israeli military has not yet stated whether these drones were intercepted or hit their targets.
Rocket sirens also sounded in the Haifa area and the northern city of Yokneam Illit.
