As soon as the news spread through the NBA league that Michael Malone had been fired, managements immediately began to explore the possibility of hiring Nikola Jokić.
As reported by “The Athletic,” the Los Angeles Lakers have already inquired about the situation in which Jokić and the Nuggets find themselves, so they are now the first favorites to bring him in.
Of course, there is also one big “but.” Jokić has to decide that it’s time to move on and that Denver agrees to a trade, but the Lakers have already shown interest.

This would mean that the Lakers want to form a super team in which Jokić would play with Luka Dončić and LeBron James. It would perhaps be the first time in history that two multiple MVPs (LeBron and Jokić) play on the same team.
