Student Stefan Tomić has been released from detention. He has been placed under house arrest, his attorney stated.

As a reminder, Stefan T. (20) was questioned at the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of Inciting a Violent Change of the Constitutional Order, under Article 309 of the Criminal Code.

The suspect denied committing the criminal offense during the questioning and presented his defense, the prosecution announced, as reported by RTS.

Following the questioning, the prosecution had proposed to the pre-trial judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade that Stefan Tomić be remanded in custody to prevent him from repeating the criminal offense within a short period.
