A 76-year-old woman from Serbia, who had been missing near Thessaloniki since last night, was found dead this morning a little after 8:00 a.m., in the sea area, reports Prototema.
The Serbian woman, who went missing late yesterday afternoon, was found in the sea part of Agia Triada beach in Thessaloniki, after a Coast Guard helicopter also joined the search.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Greek media reports, the woman from Serbia had gone for a swim with two friends, and the coast guard was informed of her disappearance last night around 9:30 p.m. local time.
