All eight participants in the NBA playoff conference semifinals are known. In the seventh, decisive game of the series in the East, Cleveland defeated Toronto on its home court 114:102.

Darko Rajaković’s Toronto had its chances in this series. Primarily, they will regret the missed opportunity for a break in the fifth game. But they definitely did not have that chance in the decider, although they led throughout the entire first half.

Because from the beginning of the third quarter, when Cleveland took the lead for the first time, the home team completely took over the reins. With an 11-1 run for 60:50, they determined the further course, not only of the quarter but of the rest of the game as well. The difference only increased, and at the end of the third period, it was 87:68, rounding off a fantastic quarter that the Cavs won 38:19.

The fourth was just a formality. It was even +22 (94:72). Toronto managed to reduce the difference to the final 12 points and bid a more or less honorable farewell to the playoffs and the season in which the Serbian coach definitely did a great job.

In the winning team, Jarrett Allen recorded a double-double of 22 points and 19 rebounds. Mitchell also scored 22 points, and James Harden 18, along with six rebounds. On the other side, Barnes recorded 24 points, with nine rebounds and six assists, while Barrett had 23 points with six assists.

In the East semifinals, Cleveland will meet the top seed Detroit, who eliminated Orlando in seven games after trailing 1:3. The Pistons have home-court advantage.
