All eight participants in the NBA playoff conference semifinals are known. In the seventh, decisive game of the series in the East, Cleveland defeated Toronto on its home court 114:102.
Darko Rajaković’s Toronto had its chances in this series. Primarily, they will regret the missed opportunity for a break in the fifth game. But they definitely did not have that chance in the decider, although they led throughout the entire first half.
Because from the beginning of the third quarter, when Cleveland took the lead for the first time, the home team completely took over the reins. With an 11-1 run for 60:50, they determined the further course, not only of the quarter but of the rest of the game as well. The difference only increased, and at the end of the third period, it was 87:68, rounding off a fantastic quarter that the Cavs won 38:19.
