Serbian representative Mila Popović won the gold medal at the World Dance Championship, which is being held from November 29 to December 4 in the Belgian city of De Panne, organized by the International Dance Organization (IDO).
Mila Popović is 11 years old, a 5th-grade student at Skadarlija Elementary School and a first-year student at Lujo Davičo Elementary Ballet School. Since the age of five, she has been a member of the Dance Factory Dance Club, with which she has achieved great results both in Serbia and abroad.
This young competitor won in the category of modern contemporary solo kids, in which 53 girls from around the world competed, including two more competitors from Serbia.
The winning choreography CEO is signed by the dance educators and choreographers of the Dance Factory Dance Club.
Mila and the other Serbian representatives still have three more days of competition ahead of them: group, formation, and duo.
It is expected that, as every year, the children will bring home many medals and trophies.
