The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an international warrant for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, reports Vijesti.ba.
The warrant has been entered into Interpol’s system. Confirmation from Europol’s General Secretariat in Lyon is currently awaited.
The Interpol office in Sarajevo entered the international warrant into the system following its issuance by the Court of BiH.

However, this warrant is not yet active, and states are not allowed to act on it until Lyon formally approves its issuance.
The warrant states that the named individuals are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia. Dodik and Stevandić are being sought for criminal prosecution for committing the offense of attacking the constitutional order under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
