Srpska Lista has strongly condemned the illegal raid by Albin Kurti’s parapolice into social welfare centers in northern Kosovo and Metohija, emphasizing that none of the employees or social aid recipients will lose their benefits. The party leadership will meet with employees today to offer full support.
In its statement, Srpska Lista reported that Kurti’s parapolice groups had forcibly occupied social welfare centers in four municipalities in northern Kosovo and Metohija without any legal basis. The move, they argue, was intended to make life more difficult for the Serbian population, including both the employees of these institutions and the recipients of social aid.
The statement further asserts that, frustrated by election results, Kurti’s defeated, anti-Serbian regime is using the final days of his rule to renew attacks on everything Serbian.
“We urge citizens not to fall for the provocations of Kurti’s defeated loyalists. In the time ahead, we will do everything to restore normalcy and, together with our people, bring back normal life to our municipalities, villages, and cities,” the statement declared.

Srpska Lista has also called on the embassies of the Quint countries, UNMIK, OSCE, and KFOR to clearly condemn these escalating actions, which they say are severely endangering the lives of thousands of social aid recipients, the most vulnerable members of society.
“There is no more room for weak statements or mild reactions. We demand a clear condemnation of these actions and a call for a return to the previous state. Anything less would be indirect support for the violation of Serbian rights,” Srpska Lista’s statement concluded.
The so-called Kosovo police stormed social welfare centers this morning in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, institutions that function within the system of the Government of Serbia.
