The body of Serbian woman Vera Pajković (23) was found on October 20 in an apartment in Vienna, and her family still has no answer as to what really happened to her that evening.
The Austrian police, let us recall, found the body in a man’s apartment in the Vienna district of Tulln, and her loved ones face every new day in agony, waiting for at least one piece of information that would clarify the tragic fate of their daughter.
As Vera’s father told Kurir, shock and complete helplessness reigned in the house.
“We still don’t know what happened to our Vera today. They just told us that she was found dead, and nothing after that. We are waiting for any information, any clue. We call, we ask, but there is no answer,” said the distressed father.
Immediately after the body was found, an autopsy was ordered.
“An autopsy was ordered and, as they subsequently informed us, Vera was sleeping at that moment, she was lying on her back and started vomiting and choked. Two men were with her at that moment, I don’t know them. I was told that they did not react in time. My Vera could certainly have been saved, but they were afraid,” said the inconsolable father, adding that he suspects that the men, who were present when Vera died, are hiding something from him.
Vera’s closest relatives claim that this is the most difficult period in their lives.
“A great tragedy happened to us, we are waiting for any information every day. We hope that someone will finally tell us the truth. That is the only thing we have left. Whatever the case, we will find out the real truth,” the father added.
Austrian media reported that the man, in whose apartment the girl died, allegedly said “that he picked her up on the street and that he doesn’t know much about the deceased girl.”
